OBJECTIVES: -Translating scientific and philosophy materials, rather than novels in a very understandable and unique way, whether from English to Arabic or the other way around. EDUCATION 1.School of Omar Ben Abdu Al-Aziz/Damascus, Syria.2010 (secondary certificate) 2.Damascus University, faculty of science, theoretical physics department/Damascus, Syria.2010 to 2012 (couldn’t continue due to the civil war). 3.Al-Basel Heart Institute, scientific research course/Damascus, Syria. 2012 (certificate of scientific research). 4.SEGI University, faculty of Information Technology/Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. 2012 to present (software engineering). EXPERIENCE: -My experience in the English language is wide and mainly constructed by self-learning, through watching videos, tutorials and reading books, not to mention that I now live in a foreign country where I have to encounter foreign people all the time on daily basis, I’m also a current student in a university with an English system and curriculum. -I have translated many scientific videos on YouTube for the purpose of benefiting education seekers in the Arab world, can be provided on demand. -I’m a member of an Arabic scientific initiative on social media; we translate English articles and videos to Arabic in order to enrich the Arabic scientific content of the world web, can be provided on demand. -I have translated few parts of a master thesis in sports science and physiology from Arabic to English. -I have translated few parts of a doctoral thesis in computer science from English to Arabic. SKILLS: I’m a fluent English speaker, I don’t actually rely on literal translation since I believe it’s not the right way for the sake of translating, many things should be taken in consideration when translating from English to Arabic, most of the time I find myself forced to rephrase the entire sentence so it can maintain its originality.
